We've gone and done some fun things in the last month or so, but life isn't all fun and games. There is yard work too.
We went to the Houston Children's museum and enjoyed face painting and making super hero capes.
We went to the NASA space center and got to see Mission Control "Houston, we have a problem . . " Pretty impressive what they did with the technology back then.
We went to Austin for Lydia's best friend's baptism. We also got some great BBQ while we were there. Texans sure take their BBQ seriously. The one place we went to had a line that wrapped half way around the block by the time they opened!
Last weekend we ran a 5K that Mike's work sponsored. Well, MIKE did the 5K. The rest of us did the 1K. Colton sprinted it. Lydia walked/ran and Josie and I took our time waving at people, balancing on curbs and going on shoulder rides. It was a great family experience. If you notice the cool statue in the background, Josie was quite dismayed by it. She was very concerned for the horse stuck in the water and kept saying, "Uh-oh. Horse stuck."
